A little of this, a little of that... (part three!)
TGIF! Here's a few more bits and pieces of things I have going on right now...
Bug Birthday Party Update
Lily's Bug Birthday Party is a little over a week away, and I'm busy putting all kinds of bug things together! Here's a look at the goody bags I made for the kids. They are fabric drawstring bags and measure approx. 12x12 inches. I made eight of them!
Sooner or later I'll share with you the treats and goodies that are going to go inside the bags!
You can find me...
Today my May Day Basket and tutorial is being featured over on HGTV's Design Blog! I am obviously thrilled about this! Please pop over and check it out! I'm not sure what time, specifically, it will be going live, so keep checking back!
LAST DAY!
Today is the FINAL day to place an order items from the Two Step into Spring promotion (20% off sets and sneak peak Awash with Flowers set) AND the Occasions Mini Catalog (most products retiring). This is your final opportunity to take advantage of the 20% off promotion and to order some products that will be going away. Place your orders at my online Stampin' Up! store TODAY!
Happy Friday!

A little of this, a little of that... (part one)
Happy Tuesday, everyone! This is one of those catch-all posts, and you can expect a few of these coming your way in the next few weeks. I have lots to share and lots to do so hang in there with me!
First off, I'm excited to be posting over at The Creative Place today. Hop on over to Ashley's place and take a peek at my May Day Basket Tutorial!
Secondly... you may remember a little contest that I did awhile back? You can read about it HERE. Well, I announced the winner HERE, it was... EVIL_LINA!
But you know what? I haven't heard from my winner, nor have I been able to contact her through blogger or any other means. It's been several weeks now, so here's what I've decided to do:
EVIL_LINA... please, please, please contact me (joanneroehm@yahoo.com) by the end of day to claim your prize... if I don't hear from you, I'm going to re-pick the contest winner! (we can't let those goodies stay unclaimed now, can we?)
If I still haven't heard from my winner by the end of the day today, I'll have Random.org pick another number from the original entries... so if you entered please stay tuned! There may still be a chance for you to win some baking goodies!
On an unrelated note, I wanted to share with you the quick notecards I put together for our friends who walked and/or donated to our Making Strides Walk over the weekend.
I was extra lucky to have a helper (thanks, Mariah!) which made putting together a whole bunch of these notecards a breeze. I've learned that kids LOVE to stamp - and it's so fun to see and share in their enthusiasm!
And finally... you may be noticing a few subtle changes around these parts. I'm playing with Blogger's new "pages" -- so you should see some tabs at the top of the page under my banner ("Contact" , "About Me", "Stampin' Up!" etc.) Not all of them are ready to go yet, but by the end of the week you should be able to view all of them. I'm particularly excited about listing my tutorials in one easy place.
Other changes include some revised labels and archiving for posts (easier searching for you!) and a "Recent/Current Projects" list in the right sidebar - here's where you'll be able to keep up with some of my ongoing projects and catch up with anything you may have missed!
Phew! Have a wonderful day, friends!

Salsa Pie!
I'm so lucky to be guest posting at one of my favorite places today - Salsa Pie! Please, head over to see my tissue paper brooch tutorial, and check out Caroline's lovely blog. If I can (someday!) be half the mommy Caroline is... I'll do alright! She is a wonderfully inspiring, creative, and gifted parent. Thank goodness the world of blogging introduced me to her!

In Review...
Did you have a lovely Easter? We had a nice, albiet busy weekend. We visited with my inlaws and ate waaaay too much delicious food.
I don't know about you - but I'm utterly bewildered at how it came to be April 6 already. It's one of those times of the year where everything seems to be going in fast forward - it's a bit of a hectic dash to the finish line and I'm having a hard time keeping up!
The weather here in Michigan is sunny one day, cold the next, thunder-storming the day after that... we have holidays and birthdays and parties to plan and concerts to go to and trips to embark on in the next couple of months... coupled with a house in need of a good spring clean, yard-work waiting to be done, and a pile of laundry that's frankly too embarrassing to talk about.
I'm just craving for some creative time and am hoping to squeeze in a little stamping today. You see, I'm working on cranking out my FINAL paper and presentation of the semester which I'll present tomorrow evening, and then I will enjoy a FIVE WEEK break from school. Aaahh... so close yet so far away!
I assure you that after Wednesday my days will be filled with equal parts napping and crafting, with a little housework thrown in for good measure. I can't wait!
While we wait for me to catch up, I thought we'd do a little Ready, Set, Craft! recap of the month of March. Enjoy!
