Week in Review

Each weekend in my Week in Review post I share with you some of my favorite crafty links I've come across during the week, from all over the blogosphere.  Enjoy!

I just adore this Ribbon Rose Ring at Craftster via Craft Gossip
So pretty - wouldn't these make lovely gifts for the Holidays?

This is an adorable pillow case dress for Halloween from Sugar Bee.  It would look darling layered over a long-sleeve tee and with a black cardigan and tights to go out trick or treating in!
I fell in love with these booties when I first saw them over at Rachel's blogHipKnitIzed provides the full tutorial - and it really does look like a quick and easy project!  I'm thinking these would be lovely Christmas gifts for all the little babies in my life!

And finally, not so much a project but I just LOVED Censational Girl's post on Holiday Housekeeping this week.  Some great times and ideas for getting organized for the holiday season.  Be sure to check it out!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Thank You... and a clumsy Week In Review...

Thank you to everyone who left sweet comments and reached out to me after reading Thursday's post.  I truly appreciate it.

I'm still trying to get things back together here - but in *trying* to catch up with some blog reading I did come across a few lovely projects from last week I thought I'd share with you.  Enjoy, and I will see you next week!

I used to LOVE making paper lanterns as a kid.  These lanterns in lovely floral prints at Dollar Store Crafts would be perfect for a baby shower...
My friend Abs over at Steinway Street is uber crafty - I knew this already (and so did you since she's been over here for a couple of guest posts!) - but I was super excited for her to see her beautiful coffee filter flower wreath featured at One Pretty Thing this week!  Yeah!
This tissue paper stained glass project over at Filth Wizardry is so bold and striking - and I love the "let your kids get messy" attitude that goes with it.  So much fun!
I've featured Trey and Lucy's button earrings before - but these with little bows are so petite and feminine I'm in love!  I need to have a button earring making party - immediately!

Happy Weekend, Crafters!

I'm a sweatshirt girl for sure - and this is a great use for the old ones I no longer wear but just can't part with!

Love this thrifty outdoor decorating idea!  Perfect for summer BBQ's!

Brilliant design and free template!  What a unique card for the grads in your life!

Sweet idea for wet bathing suits, etc.  Thrifty, too!  Love it!

Week in Review

Each weekend in my Week in Review post I share with you some of my favorite crafty links, inspiration and projects I've come across during the week, from all over the blogosphere.  ENJOY!

I've seen rings similar to this is stores all over the place - check out how quick and inexpensive it is to make one of your own!

I love that I don't need any special kit or materials to do this - I can just use what I have!  Cute!

I just love the bold colors of this wreath - it just screams birthday party, doesn't it?!

Now this is a sewing project I can dive into!  So simple and so pretty.  This was an amazing new blog find of the week... this blog just went from private to public and thank goodness it did - there are some beautiful projects on it!  Go check it out!

Happy Saturday!

Love the simplicity of this - and the use of found boxes.  Has such a unique, vintagey feel to it!

These are beyond cute.  Absolutely going on my list of things to make for all of my friends expecting babies!

These teeny tiny notepads are perfect for throwing into a purse or backpack.  Love!

Cupcake Liner Flowers at Creative Jewish Mom
Two of my favorite things combined - cupcakes and kid art.  So vibrant and fun!

Week In Review: Spring Edition!

Each weekend in my Week in Review post I share with you some of my favorite crafty links I've come across during the week, from all over the blogosphere.  ENJOY!

Caroline is so imaginative, and these big, beautiful, whimsical blossoms of hers could be used for a variety of events and occasions - or simply for a fun afternoon with your kids!

Lolly is the queen of all things Sizzix and felt, but she really outdid herself with this gorgeous wreath!

I love the use of chalkboard paint and markers here - not to mention the eco-friendliness of this project!

Not only is this pillow darling, but I love the neutral on neutral color palette that Disney used here.

Simply genius!  A doily stencil like this one would make a great background for a card, and I can see older kids really getting into this!

Have a beautiful weekend!

Week in Review

This weekend's a busy one for us... we had dinner with some out-of-town friends last night, are walking in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk this morning, hosting a brunch for our teammates after the walk, and I'm hosting a Mother's Day card making workshop on Sunday.  Phew!  Not to mention the Spring cleaning and yardwork we need to complete that is STILL very much a work in progress.

Each weekend in my Week in Review post I share with you some of my favorite crafty links I've come across during the week, from all over the blogosphere.  Enjoy, and have a wonderful weekend!

Amanda's blog has quickly become one of my faves - I mean, just look at this cake.  Try telling me you're ever seen a cake look this amazing... I dare you!  YUM!

I love the simplicity of these - would be so much fun to make with a group of friends, or with children.

This hat is purr-fectly adorable.  And the picture below with the kitty?  Just makes it even CUTER!

These would be a beautiful (and cheap!) way to decorate for Valentines, Mother's Day, or any party!
